Behind the studios

HAPI studios, is the playful expression of two artists Luke and Charles who share a love and fascination for playful, thought-provoking art. Luke graduated from Kingston School of Art with a degree in Graphic Design while Charles graduated from University of the Arts London with a degree in Visual Communication. Their first collaboration working on the brand for London 2012 formed a shared passion for design and the power of communication. Having worked together for over a decade creating global brands, they wanted to work on something much more innocent and positive — HAPI studios. With a simple aim of bringing a smile to your everyday, they are creating pieces that have happiness and positivity at their core. Made with attention to detail, craft, love, playful typography and often humour.
